The retrieval procedure went off without a hitch this morning.  I am REALLY sore, and it’s hard to walk around.  I also have to pee every thirty minutes or so!

We were very fortunate though, that thirteen eggs were retrieved.  I was hoping for six or seven, so that is a great number to us.  Lucky thirteen!

I’m spending the day watching movies with Marce on the couch.  She has been wonderful taking care of me, keeping track of all of the medications, and giving me all of those shots.  She’s been a trooper, and it’s made things much easier for me.

I am, however, not looking forward to the progesterone shots that loom ahead.  We found out today that if I get pregnant, I will take them for a total of ten weeks!  Ouch!

If all of this works, though, it will all be worth it.
